SIBAS

SIBAS is a multiuser online database system developed by SI in 1974. SIBAS was one of the first CODASYL Data Model database management systems for minicomputers.

SIBAS II

SIBAS II is an expanded and optimised version of SIBAS, from a joint development project with A/S Shipping Research Services in Oslo - the provider company of SIBAS for large computer systems - CIIR (SI), and Norsk Data. SIBAS II for ND-500 is thus identical to SIBAS II on large computer systems such as Univac 1100 and IBM 360/370. This version was available at least as early as 1982. It's not clear exactly when it was developed, but a SIBAS II datasheet from July 1982 [1] says 'recently' about the joint development project described above.
