3111 is the 8-terminal interface with buffer.

Introduction

What does it do?

Switches and indicators

  • Current loop / RS-2323 selection, group A, 1-2
  • TH6 - Baud-rate selection, group A
  • TH5 - Baud-rate selection, group B
  • Current loop / RS-2323 selection, group A, 3-4
  • Current loop / RS-2323 selection, group B, 1-2
  • TH4 - Terminal group selection, group A
  • TH3 - Extended address selection, group A
  • TH2 - Terminal group selection, group B
  • TH1 - Extended address selection, group B
  • Current loop / RS-2323 selection, group B, 3-4

Extended address selection (TH1 and TH3) have only two valid positions: 0 - normal address range, 1 - extended address range. Extended address range means terminals 65 to 128. These terminals are reached only by using the ND-100 instruction IOXT.

Baud-rate selection (TH5, TH6)

  • 0: 110 baud
  • 1: 150 baud
  • 2: 300 baud
  • 3: 2400 baud
  • 4: 1200 baud
  • 5: 1800 baud
  • 6: 4800 baud
  • 7: 9600 baud
  • 8: 2400 baud
  • 9: 600 baud
  • 10: 200 baud
  • 11: 134.5 baud
  • 12: 75 baud
  • 13: 50 baud
  • 14: 100 baud
  • 15: 19200 baud

Current loop / RS-232 selection

  • 0 - current loop
  • 1 - RS-232

Connectors

The A and B connectors are used for I/O, the C connector is used for the ND-100 Bus.
