Summary
Taken in late 1991, this picture shows the old computer room in the background with the Norsk Data (ND) machines. These were 16 bit superminis from the 1980s. In the foreground one of the early replacements for the ND equipment.
CODAS - the computer and control division at JET - was in a state of flux as we were leaving at the end of 1991, moving away from the ND machines onto Sun's SPARC platform.
