Acronyms

Acronyms used in the description of Norsk Data computers. This page lists some of the forgotten acronyms that makes it easier to read ND-documentation.

BRF

BRF, Binary Relocatable Format, compiled program code in a form that can be loaded anywhere in memory. See NRL.

SMD

SMD, Storage Module Driver, one of the types of disks used by ND computers.

TRUE

TRransaction User Environment, a transaction monitor, network control and recovery system for databases. See TRUE.
