Installation
Software installation control
Before you can use RP for ND-500(0), a software key must be installed on your computer. The software key is an alphanumeric string that is coded from your computer number and the RP product number. The software key is supplied with your RP delivery on a sheet of paper.
The software key must be installed on your computer by using the program SOFTICE, which is a part of product 211846. Start the program when logged in as SINTRAN user SYSTEM. Give the following commands:
SICE: STORE-SOFWARE-KEY Product number: 211066 Software key : <your specific key> Product name : RP for ND-5000 SICE: EXIT
Note that upper and lower case letters must be entered exactly as stated in the supplied key.
If you try to run RP for ND-500(0) before the correct key is installed, RP will stop with a message like (English version):
-- No legal software activation key for this product installed
or
-- error when checking software activation key
