This page contains screenshots from running ND-100 test programs (210523E00-XX-01D floppy) on my ND-110 Satellite (9883.21005).
As usual, you load the floppy by giving

on the console
DISK-MM B01
Disk Media Maintenance is the program you are supposed to use to initialize (or format and initialize) a SCSI hard drive before you can install SINTRAN III on it. ND-210523H has DISK-MM-B01. Unfortunately, this version refuses to work on non-ND hard drives.

- I tested DISK-MM B01.
DMM
Since I managed to capture a floppy image that has DMM - Disk Media Maintenance on it (see ND-DMM page), I wanted to try it out. So I wrote the image to a floppy, which ndfs thinks is ok
tingo@kg-t2$ sudo dd if=./ND-DMM_1988-09-30.image of=/dev/fd1 bs=1024 1232+0 records in 1232+0 records out 1261568 bytes transferred in 230.765361 secs (5467 bytes/sec) tingo@kg-t2$ ndfs -t /dev/fd1 Directory name : DMM Object file index pointer : 611 SI: 0x1 (indexed) User file index pointer : 613 SI: 0x1 (indexed) Bit file pointer : 614 SI: 0x0 (contiguous) No. of unreserved pages : 2 Files: 0 0: I 28 pages 56320 bytes 1988-09-30 13:19:32 (FLOPPY-USER)TPE-MON-100-B00:PROG 0 1: I 38 pages 77824 bytes 1988-10-12 18:51:09 (FLOPPY-USER)DMM-05C00:TEST 0 2: I 11 pages 22528 bytes 1988-10-12 18:51:18 (FLOPPY-USER)DMM-E1-05C00:NEXT 0 3: I 11 pages 22528 bytes 1988-10-12 18:51:21 (FLOPPY-USER)DMM-E2-05C00:NEXT 0 4: I 6 pages 12288 bytes 1988-10-12 18:51:24 (FLOPPY-USER)DMM-C1-05C00:NEXT 0 5: I 6 pages 12288 bytes 1988-10-12 18:51:26 (FLOPPY-USER)DMM-C2-05C00:NEXT 0 6: I 6 pages 12288 bytes 1988-10-12 18:51:28 (FLOPPY-USER)DMM-C3-05C00:NEXT 0 7: I 6 pages 12288 bytes 1988-10-12 18:51:30 (FLOPPY-USER)DMM-C4-05C00:NEXT 0 8: I 16 pages 31086 bytes 1991-04-12 11:22:19 (FLOPPY-USER)BDIO-DUMP:OUT Directory size: 611 pages Bit file size : 1 page
Then I put the floppy in the ND-110 and attempted to load it
The expected result here was that TPE-MON would have loaded. No matter what I try, the ND-110 is unable to see any files on that floppy. So this image might be broken.

- attempted to test the ND-DMM image. It wouldn't load TPE-MON, just FLOPPY-MON.
DISK-MM B00
Disk Media Maintenance is the program you are supposed to use to initialize (or format and initialize) a SCSI hard drive before you can install SINTRAN III on it. ND-210523G has DISK-MM-B00. Unfortunately, this version refuses to work on non-ND hard drives.

- I tested DISK-MM B00.
SCSI-TV B00
I used SCSI Test and Verify B00 (from ND-210523G) to check that the machine recognized the hard drive correctly. It did.

Testing a Seagate ST31200N drive with SCSI-TV
I used SCSI-TV-B00 for testing a Seagate ST31200N drive.

- Testing ST31200N with SCSI-TV-B00. The drive is recognized as having 1024 byte blocks. All (SCSI) adaptor tests pass. Some device tests fail because the test program doesn't recognize the vendor (and don't know how to perform the test?). The interesting results are for drive tests 12 and 14; they fail because of inconsistent / wrong partition block. Perhaps the INITIALIZE command from the DISK-MM program is supposed to write partition info to a drive?
TPE Monitor B00
Recently I got more floppies, which included ND-210523G Test Program for ND-100/110/120. Here are some screenshots from running TPE Monitor, version B00.
