#The message <code>**ABORTED BY SYSTEM**</code> is printed on the specified terminal.<br />
#In some cases the background program hang in an internal "escape off" state. @STOP-TERMINAL cannot then be used. Instead the other users should log off and [[SINTRAN]] should be restarted.<br />
#If the command has no effect on a terminal @[[ABORT]] BAK can be used, but with care as in a few cases this might stop the system.<br />
