The escape character is ignored in user mode, i.e. no "user break" will be performed.<br />
Rules:<br />
#Permitted for all users. However, only user SYSTEM can specify other <logical device number> than his own.<br />
#The escape function is enabled when logging out.<br />
#This feature will also work for edited input (see {{ND-doc|60.128.01}} (printed June 1980), Appendix C).<br />
