Introduction
Special intercomputer link interface for highspeed communication between ND-110/ND-110 or ND-110/N-10/10-S (see ND-726)
A MEGALINK interface can only communicate with another MEGALINK interface.
Synchronous transmission format.
HDLC (High level Data Link Control) frame format handled in hardware.
Direct Memory Access (DMA) transfer of data.
Line connection: Special computerlink connection with balanced drivers/receivers (RS-422).
Speed up to 983kbps.
For machine-to-machine cable, check out cable 325402 in Service Handbook II, chapter 2-20 - http://norsk-data.com/library/libsw/ND-NDSH02-03-EN.pdf (http://norsk-data.com/library/libsw/libsw.html)
